Imaging
Throughout the year, I have used scanners, digital cameras, and the internet as resources of aquiring pictures. With all of these pictures, I have used Macromedia Fireworks to edit their appearance.
Scanning is a boring method of aquiring pictures. You have to bring in the picture and position it on the scanner perfectly. Then you have to save and edit.
The best method of aquiring pictures, in my opinion, is using a digital camera. With a digital camera you can capture whatever you want to. Editing is easy, all you have to do is connect your camera to the computer and then edit.
Getting images from the internet is really fun. You can browse the net for hours, but there is a problem, you can't seem to ever find that picture that you really want. Some ways to make searching easier, is to be more specific with your searches.
Here are a few pictures that I have taken in Web Development Class.

This is an image of me on my brothers drag racing snowmobile. This is also a good example of my editing skills in fireworks. |
Digital Camera:

This picture was taken by my friend in class. This is just a simple picture some things to remember when taking pictures is that centering the object is not always the best pose. Instead, try rule of thirds, put it to the side, get so background in the picture. |
Fireworks Graphic:

Tenwalde, Lance T. Classic Buckle. 2006. Beaverton High School, Beaverton. |
I created this image in fireworks. This was an image that I just started to make shapes and I ended up with this and got an A on it. |

This image was taken off of the internet. Before you take any image off of the internet, make sure that they are not copyrighted images, otherwise you could get in trouble. |
